NAWA Skills up! The call for proposals for co-financing courses for doctoral candidates is launched

IDS TUL invite you to submit applications in the task Skills up! implemented as part of STER NAWA.

Doctoral students choose courses according to their own development needs, in accordance with the Terms and conditions defined under the task Skills up!
The course should be accepted by the supervisor, the aim of this acceptance is to confirm that a choosen course will serve the doctoral candidates in development in accordance with the chosen educational path (the course may concern topics related to the discipline of education or increasing soft skills useful in the education of the doctoral student or subsequent scientific activity).

 

Platforms as a example were recommended during the presentation of the task (below links as proposals).

FutureLearn: Online Courses and Degrees from Top Universities

It is important that the course chosen by you is carried out by a university from the top 50 best universities according to the list below.

 

The following courses will be accepted:
a) chosen by the Doctoral Candidates of IDS TUL, in agreement with the supervisor, from the offer of renowned research centres all over the world (included in the top 50 universities according to the list of the https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/2022)
b) implemented via online platforms
c) starting no earlier than 7 days from the date of application to the IDS Office, ending no later than 17.09.2023.
d) accepted in the form of a signature by a representative of the discipline in which the Doctoral Candidate is studying (the Doctoral Candidate's supervisor or a person designated from the discipline, signature in part IV of the Application).

 

To sum up - Doctoral students choose the course themselves, discuss the choice with the supervisor, fill out the Application with statements, obtain the signature of the supervisor and bring the application to the IDS TUL Office during office hours.
