Dear PhD Candidates,
I kindly request you to familiarize with the new Announcement of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology on the procedure for the payment of doctoral scholarship and reporting to social insurance and health insurance doctoral candidates studying at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School of Lodz University of Technology of July 29, 2025.
Like last year, please complete the Statement for tax and health insurance purposes (Appendixes 1 and 2 to the above-mentioned Announcement of the Rector of TUL):
The deadline for submitting the required attachments is September 15, 2025 (please submit the documents during working hours of IDS TUL office).
I kindly inform you that in the case of PhD candidates after the mid-term evaluation, the amount of the doctoral scholarship is increased (it exceeds the amount of the minimum remuneration for work). It is therefore necessary to update the data on the statements submitted in relation to the contracts of mandate that were concluded.
I kindly inform you that PhD candidates from the 2021/2022 recruitment as of October 1, 2025 will be :
- deregistered from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) 4, which affects the examination of overlapping titles for insurance coverage and requires updating the data on the statements submitted to the contracts of mandate that were concluded
- deregistered from health insurance. Their entitlement to healthcare benefits expires four months after graduating from the Doctoral School. If the deadline for submitting the doctoral dissertation is extended, the data on the declarations must be updated
Failure to submit the declaration within the deadline may result in a delay in payment of the doctoral scholarship.
