Documents for mid-term evaluation (September 2026)
Dear Doctoral Candidates,
As the deadline for the mid-term evaluation is approaching, on behalf of the Director of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School at the Lodz University of Technology, we are providing you with the cover letter (Appendix) concerning the mid-term evaluation and related documents.
We would like to kindly inform you that the deadline for submitting the following documents necessary for the mid-term evaluation expires on 2 July 2026:
• mid-term evaluation report on the implementation of the IRP, reviewed by the supervisor(s) (Appendix 2 and Appendix 2a for the implementation doctorate candidates), • opinion of the supervisor on the progress of the doctoral candidate (Appendix 4) • confirmation of scientific and/or artistic and popularisation achievements related to the implementation of the IRP,
In the case of a publication, please attach the first page of the manuscript and the page containing information on the contributions of individual authors (i.e. the ‘credits’ page). If the publication does not include specific details of the contributions made by individual authors, please provide a description of your own contribution in the appropriate section of the mid-term evaluation report.
The deadline for submitting the presentation on the research results to date, together with a discussion of these results in correlation with the IRP (Appendix 3) expires on 20 August 2026
The documents in hard copy with original signatures of the supervisors should be delivered to the Office of the IDS TUL during the PhD’s reception hours. The electronical version of the presentation should be sent to the e-mail address: isd@adm.p.lodz.pl
According to the schedule, the mid-term evaluation will take place from 2 to 16 Septemebr 2026. The exact date and time of the mid-term evaluation will be communicated to you individually in an email at a later date by the Mid-term Evaluation Committee.
In order to clarify any concerns, there is planned an information meeting on the mid-term review for the end of May. Further details will be provided in a separate message.
