Dear Doctoral Students,
I am pleased to inform you that registration has been opened especially for you for a new training entitled “Creating Accessible Digital Materials in Line with Universal Design Principles”.
The training is delivered as part of the project “Enhancing the Qualifications and Competences of Teaching Staff at Lodz University of Technology”, co-financed by the European Union under the programme European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027,
Priority 1: Skills, Measure 01.05 Skills in Higher Education,
contract no. FERS.01.05-IP.08-0151/23-00.
Training Objective
The aim of the training is to introduce participants to the basic principles of creating accessible and inclusive digital materials. Participants will become familiar with general guidelines and good practices for designing content that is understandable and usable by the widest possible audience. The training will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the importance of accessibility and inclusivity in digital communication.
The training is addressed to doctoral students who prepare documents, presentations, and other digital content as part of their academic and teaching activities.
Training Programme Includes:
• principles of planning and preparing public presentations,
• good practices in pre-production,
• development of practical skills in post-production,
• digital accessibility standards (WCAG),
• copyright law and the use of materials,
• possibilities for using selected generative tools.
