Dear Doctoral Candidates,
we would like to warmly invite you to participate in the training “Starting in Academic Teaching: A Guide for Beginners.”
This training is dedicated exclusively to doctoral candidates.
The training is organized within the project “Improving the qualifications and competences of teaching staff at Lodz University of Technology”, co-financed by the European Union under the programme European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027.

The training will cover the following topics:
- the specifics of the teaching process at a technical university
- formal requirements related to conducting classes
- strategies for designing, delivering and evaluating different types of classes
- creating engaging courses and subjects
- adult learning processes and effective teaching methods
- activating students and problem-based learning methods
- assessment and verification of students’ knowledge
- the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in teaching

Please note that the trainer is flexible regarding the schedule of the following sessions and consultations and may adjust them according to the availability of the majority of participants.
