Dear Doctoral Candidates,
We have received several inquiries regarding the affiliation of your scientific publications and the documentation of your achievements in the SKRYBA system. We would like to remind you that all doctoral candidates at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School are required to affiliate their publications with Lodz University of Technology, as well as the specific Faculty or Institute where your research is conducted. Additionally, please ensure that you include the following annotation in the appropriate section, in accordance with the journal's style or editorial guidelines:
Acknowledgement: This work (resp. paper, article, research, etc.) has been completed while the first (resp. second, third, etc.) author was the Doctoral Candidate in the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School at Lodz University of Technology, Poland.
All published works and other academic achievements must be archived and reported in the SKRYBA system at the respective Faculty. Therefore, you should report your achievements to the relevant SKRYBA system operators at the Faculties each time.
Please ensure that copies of the first pages of your publications are attached to the semester reports submitted to the IDS TUL office. These copies should include key information such as the DOI number, title, and date of publication.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the requirement to submit a statement regarding the doctoral candidate's percentage share in the publication will be eliminated. However, please be aware that there may still be an obligation to submit other types of statements if mandated by the regulations of specific competitions or projects.
