Present activities:

The main areas of interest and directions of the research currently carried out are the following issues:

  • Bursting strength and bursting Energy absorption of paper products
  • Computer simualtion of water-mass balance in paper machnie
  • Development of the device for paper liquid absorption testing
  • Optimization of the pulp refining process
  • Methods of paper hydrophobization
  • Impact of polysiloxane particles on paper properties
  • Paper composites based on natural and man-made cellulosic fibers
  • Methods of paper securing

 

Future activities:

Continuation of current research topics, µPADs (microfluidic paper based analytical devices), new methods of paper hydrophobization
