We are pleased to invite you to the IV PhD Research Horizons Seminar at Kozminski University, taking place on-line on March 18, 2026.
During the meeting, Anna M. Gorska Ph.D. (more info below) will be our special guest and provide academic suggestions on methodological aspects, presentation style and tailored remarks. The special theme for this seminar will be: What is (In)visible in Organisations (Voice, Power, Inequality)?

Anna M. Górska, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at Kozminski University and Director of the Women and Diversity in Organizations Research Center. She is a member of the Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, member of General Council for Science and Higher Education and an Associate Member of the Centre for Work, Organization and Society at the University of Essex. She studies gender in organizations and higher education institutions. Her research investigates how structural and cultural forces, such as neoliberalism, meritocratic ideals, and institutional norms, impact academic careers, with a focus on promoting greater inclusivity, equity, and justice within higher education. Her recent book, Quitting Academia, analyzes how why- how- and after academic departures. Currently, she serves as co-editor-in-chief of Tamara: Journal for Critical Organization Inquiry and an associate editor and member of editorial board for various international journals. Anna has participated as a principal investigator and researcher in multiple projects funded by the Polish National Science Centre, EU funds, British Academy, and Norwegian Funds. She has also received scholarships and awards including the Fulbright Award and the Minister of Science and Higher
Education Scholarship for Young Prominent Scholars. She has gained international experience as a visiting scholar at Columbia Business School and ESCP Business School.
